Just Pedal Bikeshop Social Ride

Just Pedal is al een paar jaar mijn lokale bikeshop voor allerlei onderdelen. Ook kan je hier je eigen fiets samenstellen. Dit weekend was er een Social Bikeride georganiseerd. Geen records maar een gezellige fietstocht vanaf de bikeshop naar Soesterberg. Wil je de route ook rijden kijken dan op deze komoot pagina. Tijdens de rit mijn nieuwe GoPro Hero 13 meegenomen. De beelden kan je hieronder bekijken.

The coming month I will be working more on the website. Last couple of years I had less time to work on the website. Also the other website about biketouring will be merged into this website. I will try to keep the site multilangual as possible. our biketouring holidays will start in Dutch and translated later on. If you have questions about one of the tours, please let me know.

There are more MTB trails build every year. When they are nearby I try to ride them and create a gps track. The track will be uploaded on trailforks. Some new area’s are: Hardewijk en Ermelo (dutch) Den Treek., woudenberg (dutch)

It is 2007 when I first participate at the Bart Brentjes Challange. Bart is a former mountainbiker who is having his own team now. The BBC does start in Eijsden, southern Netherlands, called Limburg Limburg is known for his more hilly area, so the climbs are longer then the rest of the Netherlands. We have been mountainbike a long time with the familiy. We did notice it is hard to make nice downhill track is there is no cablecar nearby. We parked our car on the top and rolled down the mountain and I did cycle up again to get the car. Then I found out there is a bungy rope designed for bikers. I orderded one for testing. Eleven cities biking tour 2018

A few weeks ago we were in Friesland already, we then cycled with our tour-bikes the “elfstedentocht“. The second day of Pentecost (whit-monday) we did ride the 240 kilometer eleven cities bike ride. We were accompanied by 15.000 other bikers. Different categories of cyclists participate in the tour. Fast ‘race’-cyclists, sporty cyclists and real recreational cyclists. The bicycles of the participants also vary. During the tour we see a lot of racing bikes, but also ‘regular’ bicycles, transport bikes, tandems…

Last may holiday we did ride most of the elfstedenroute . The elfstedentocht is a iceskate trip that only take place when there is enough ice to ride it on iceskates.
