The weehoo history:
The original posts are made in dutch, these have not been translated yet.
It is summer 2011 when we cycled the Aare route in switzerland. Finn is 3 years old and gets larger.
He is to small for a tradional bike trailer, he still falls a sleep somethimes. Then we found info about Weehoo at a local bike store.
We ordered our weehoo from sector2bikes in Elst. On the weehoo it is possible to use a normal chair possition and Finn can help pedalling later on.
As the mounting of the weehoo is done at the seat post I miss my option to use my rackpack. Therefore I mounted a rack on the back of the weehoo.
original post from 2011:
Early 2012 we did our first trip with the Weehoo . Het fietserpad ( long distance route in the Netherlands). We discovered that with rain Finn gets quite cold as he is not yet helping with pedalling.
In the summer 2013 we want to make a cycling tour in scotland. This will mean more “bad” weather. So I created a raincover myself.
We have used the raincover several times in Scotland. After our trip the marketing department from weehoo had createda video. Some of our footige was used in their video.
We did notice our raincover was a bit hard to set up. Weehoo created a raincover them selve, so we bought this one.
In summer 2014 we are cycling again in the Netherlands if we visit sector2bikes again. The are also trading Frogbikes ( UK based) and we bought a Frogbike after our trip.
See all weehoo posts.
Now ( 2016) weehoo got more versions available of the trailer .
Even with racks all ready available.
